Our goal is to ensure every puppy finds a home where it can thrive. The Turkish Boz Shepherd is a powerful, intelligent, and independent working breed. To help you determine if this is the right dog for you, we want to be upfront about the kind of environment these dogs need to succeed.
These puppies are not a good fit for you if:

  • You are looking for a dog to keep in an apartment. These dogs need a job and ample space to work.
  • The dog will be kept isolated, chained, or kenneled for its entire life. They are intelligent and social animals that need to be part of a working homestead.
  • You are unwilling to work with their natural instincts. These dogs are independent thinkers and require an owner who understands and supports their guardian nature.
  • You are not willing to dedicate time to their training and socialization.
  • You are not committed to addressing potential behavioral issues, such as aggression, if they arise.

This special litter represents the final legacy of Princess, a direct import from Turkey and daughter of the respected MINIK bloodline. She is a large, quiet, and intensely devoted guardian with exceptional instincts. At 160 lbs, Princess is both powerful and gentle — trusted with all manner of livestock, including birds, and unwavering in her commitment to the animals she protects.

The sire, TALAT OF SUNSET GUARDIANS is a strong and stable male with a calm, grounded temperament. He is stock- and bird-safe, with the steady confidence we value in working dogs. Both parents have been Embark health-tested and are clear.
