Right Fit, Right Future

Raising Your Next Livestock Guardian: Turkish Boz Shepherd Puppies

Welcome to Emerald Mtn Ranch! As ranchers who understand the challenges of predation, we specialize in raising and breeding exceptional Turkish Boz Shepherd dogs—a powerful, intelligent solution for your homestead or operation.

Our integrity is rooted in our core breeding and working philosophy: We focus on three pillars —exceptional workability, robust health, and stable temperament. This ensures every puppy has the right instincts and foundation to succeed.

Is the Boz Right for You?

These dogs thrive in homes where they can work, bond, and be respected for their instincts. They are not a fit for:

  • Apartment or small-space living
  • Being chained, isolated, or kenneled full-time
  • Owners unwilling to work with their independent guardian nature
If you’re looking for a true working partner, the Turkish Boz Shepherd could be exactly what your homestead needs.

At Emerald Mtn Ranch, our mission is simple: to raise guardians that protect with courage, live with loyalty, and serve with heart. We are excited to help you find your next working partner.

Past litters

March 2025

Talat x Princess

This special litter represents the final legacy of Princess, a direct import from Turkey and daughter of the respected MINIK bloodline. She is a large, quiet, and intensely devoted guardian with exceptional instincts. At 160 lbs, Princess is both powerful and gentle — trusted with all manner of livestock, including birds, and unwavering in her commitment to the animals she protects.
The sire, TALAT OF SUNSET GUARDIANS, is a strong and stable male with a calm, grounded temperament. He is stock- and bird-safe, with the steady confidence we value in working dogs. Both parents have been Embark health-tested and are clear.
