We were holding our breath for #30 to calve this season.
Last year as a heifer ( a 1st time momma) she gave us some major scares by getting "cast", basically getting stuck on her back because she was so big.
It’s a dangerous situation because that internal pressure can actually suffocate a cow if they aren't flipped back over quickly.
Thankfully this year no problem! So relieved to see her finally standing over a healthy baby. Nothing beats a happy ending in the calving pasture.
