Early mornings at 4:00 AM in the dark are just part of the deal when we want to do right by our dogs. We loaded them up and made that 450-mile, 8-hour round trip over two mountain passes just to get our health testing done.
โIt is a long haul, but health testing is important for us because we love this breed so much and want to do our best for them. Always striving to improve is just part of being a better stockman every single day.
โWe finally made it back home where they belong, and you could just see the relief on their faces to be right back out with their animals. Hard days on the road are entirely worth it when it means protecting the future of these incredible working dogs.
